Tubeless tyres require valves that fit into the hole (15.7-15.9 mm) in the rim bed.

Not every tyre dealer has these valves in stock, so ask for them in advance and buy them from an aftermarket dealer if necessary. And why not keep a few spare valves in the boot?

There are also valve adapters/reduction sleeves for fitting modern inner tubes in rims with a valve hole diameter of 15 mm.

The sleeve is placed on the thin valve so that there is no play in the rim with the thicker hole.
