Switch for P1800 and 1800S
In the Service Manual (Part 3), the switch for windscreen wipers and windscreen washer is presented and described with this illustration.
The switch is a combined pull-and-turn type switch:.
- It can be pulled out to two positions for wiper full speed and half speed.
- Turning the switch to the right operates the windscreen washer,

The switch is removed from the dashboard as follows:
- Disconnect the earth lead from the battery.
- Remove the pull button by pushing in the lock pin with a suitable tool and then pull out the button.
- Disconnect the switch by unscrewing the nut with a suitable tool
- Lift the switch out backwards and then downwards.
- Mark the leads and then disconnect them.
