If, with increasing age, the incandescent lamps of the instrument lighting only shine dully and the driver's eyesight has deteriorated, then the lamps with the filament could be replaced with LED lamps.
LED lamps have several advantages:
- Brighter and more even luminosity
- Extremely long life
- Low heat generation
- Lower energy consumption
It is worthwhile to convert at least the two large round instruments.
However, the LED lamps cannot be dimmed.
